Celebrating, Cultivating and Elevating the Invincible Guardian in Every Man
A journey that culminates in a powerful summit on Saturday, 10/10/2020 in cities all around the world.

10/10/2020 is spearheading an international summit for men – celebrating, cultivating, and elevating men as essential Guardians of humanity. We believe every man has a unique and vital role as a protector of our collective well-being. Millions of men already know their roles, and many others are hungry to discover or amplify their own. Whatever the case, this event will nourish men toward their highest potential as Guardians in a one-day elevational event on October, 10th 2020, demarcating a new era of global clarity and emergent brotherhood.
10/10/2020 will take place at hundreds of chartered sites around the world, with each local chapter weaving together men of all ages, ethnicities, skin tones, religious and spiritual practices, political affiliations, gender and sexual identities into a profound brotherhood for collective celebration, inspiration, and learning. Each chapter will organize its own commerce-free, silent-sponsored, open-sourced "unconference" – leveraging an organizational template and collateral materials created by the originating chapter.
Each event will nourish the wholeness of its attending brothers physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually through a shared midday meal and a full spectrum of locally sourced TED-like talks, seminars, and workshops.
Offerings are expected to touch on nutrition, exercise, fasting, longevity, posture, yoga, breath-work, passion, finances, mindset, connection, relationships, personal dress, embodied leadership, self-defense, authentic relating, voice, movement, haka, energy, masculine-feminine dynamics, gender norms, two-spirit identities, anger, mindfulness, creativity, emotional intelligence, “Me Too” movement, sovereignty, and purpose, to name a few.
Some topics will be offered to all in attendance to build commonality and cohesion, and others will be in the form of concurrent breakout sessions, allowing men to shape the day to their desires. A bias toward interactive sessions, experiential learning, and a growth mindset will ensure maximal impact and aliveness.
To crown the day, every willing man in attendance will be uplifted – crowd-surfing style – by his brothers in a culminating ceremony highlighting that every man is a rockstar, a hero for what he has already overcome to be here and launching him toward even greater wellness and success.

Summiting
We often hear about "summit" conferences, but rarely hear about the climb that precedes the summit. In the distinction between a "summit" and the act of "summiting" is the unique power within the 10/10/2020 Summit. Every man inspired by this call to unite will set his own personal goal as a part of the movement – and as we begin climbing together, we will achieve things we were unable to do alone. On 10/10/2020 men will look out on the vista at a sea of beautiful heartcentered men spanning all ages, skin tones, styles of dress, religious and political affiliations, sexual orientations and identities, and know that we were triumphant – overcoming great odds to pull off the feat of reaching this Summit individually and collectively.
As we begin the climb, we will remind each man that he already stands this very day at a summit in his life, a self understanding forged by the sum total of all his past experiences – his triumphs, his struggles, and his resiliency. We see those as fuel for the way he may continue his ascension and support other men in theirs. We also invite men who are drawn to (as well as repelled by) the 10/10/2020 summit to leverage this vision and energy of common brotherhood to declare their visions for growth and wellness, and in so declaring, not only call in the power of other men to assist in their ascent, but also to ignite other men to declare their own. Any vision that inspires you is neither too small nor too great.
Declarations
We hold these truths as self-evident and central to every move we make:
Men are amazing. (All men are rockstars.)
Men are natural Guardians with a deep desire to protect their families and communities.
Good-hearted, open-minded men way outnumber all other categories of men.
When a mass of good-hearted men come together, we are a force for positive change; we are stronger together.
Every man has a post to guard – something that he knows he is meant to protect, uplift, and leave better than he found it.
There is always more room for the things that enliven us.
Celebrating men will naturally cultivate even more amazing expressions of man in our communities.
Every man longs to be the greatest version of himself and has a voice inside that calls him back once he fails to move forward, or when he forgets how far he’s come.
Every man has bright spots and blind spots in his current way of being human, and through an expanding awareness of these he can conduct himself with greater skill and fidelity to his vision for himself and the world.
Steel sharpens steel and every man needs the unique nurture and connection with other men to thrive and express his full greatness.
Now is the time for all men to gather, unite as one, and draw true power and wisdom from our common brotherhood.
How this is different from other men’s events
We celebrate diversity in every sense of the word – creating an inter-everything platform – leaning into our differences under a banner of unity and ultimately proving we are stronger together.
10/10/2020 is an amalgamation, celebration, and uplifting of the amazing Men’s work already being done in our cities and neighborhoods.
We will be a grand equalizer – by being locally driven and having no fees attached, all men moved by the mission will have a place at the table.

Rather then trying to re-invent the wheel, we are moving to uplift and unite men around the positive work already active in our cities and neighborhoods.
Every chapter will create a catalog of all the Men’s work offerings available in their chapter's city and make that list available to all attendees of 10/10/2020 – serving as a directory to promote our brothers' good work.
No one person will "own" this event. We will be a global network owned by the collective of men committed to uplifting the movement
